Observed execution manifestations

Strait of Hormuz

Normal transit remains contingent on access conditions outside the commercial parties’ control. Routing availability, war-risk exposure and LNG/oil movement remain capable of changing independently of contractual delivery assumptions.

Red Sea / Suez corridors

Renewed threats and vessel course changes continue demonstrating that route availability can change faster than downstream schedules, berth sequences and contractual timing can be realigned.

LNG supply continuity

The Qatar disruption exposed the difference between contracted supply and executable delivery. Production source, export corridor, replacement cargo availability and portfolio flexibility can become separate performance variables.

Priority berthing

Mormugao’s 2026 priority-berthing directive introduced a discretionary external trigger into an otherwise observable berth sequence: arrival order remains relevant, but no longer necessarily controls berth order.

Published schedule divergence

Tema demonstrated the opposite failure mode: the schedule continued to exist while operators ceased treating its published sequence as operationally reliable.
